Learn Little About Me

Oak Hill deserves better leadership.

I’m a U.S. Army Veteran who served in the, 82nd Airborne Division, Ft. Bragg, NC from 1979 to 1986. After graduating from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 1993, I worked in aviation and computers for a few years.

In 1995, I started a charter business targeting redfish and spotted sea trout here in Mosquito Lagoon. In the summer of 2002, I bought a home in the beautiful neighborhood of North Gaines Street and moved to Oak Hill.

Recent decisions have come out of our city commission that fall short of representing the community’s view for our future. Our leadership has ignored our wishes and pursued an agenda that fails our city and has left property owners feeling disenfranchised. Oak Hill deserves better leadership.

Let’s Stand Together

Together We can Build Something Great!

City preparedness in the event of a catastrophic hurricane or other disaster can bolster its ability to respond. Effective communication during an emergency can make the difference between life and death. Power outages can prevent communication and commonly occur during severe storms. Our city needs an effective emergency power generation system in place that will provide the energy needed to allow our leaders to direct emergency operations and first responders in assisting the citizens of Oak Hill. Oak Hill needs an emergency shelter for its citizens who cannot evacuate.  I will make building this facility part of my mission as a city commissioner.

My Mission

The 1558 new 1200 square foot homes that have recently been approved by our commissioners will fundamentally change our city and rob our citizens of the heritage they have worked so hard to preserve. As a city commissioner I will never vote in favor of projects like these cookie cutter RPUD developments our Mayor and Commissioners have worked so hard to hurry into law despite staunch opposition from the community. I’ll vote with the will of our citizens. Our city leaders have steadfastly worked to defy the will of the citizens and ignored their concerns. This bull headed obstinance has put the wishes of outside special interest ahead of those of Oak Hill Residents and serves no one in our city.

Report: for Residents of North Gaines Street and other Concerned Parties

My Goals

Protect and improve the water quality of Mosquito Lagoon and the Indian River.

Stop the out-of-control approval of RPUD housing units that our city has been granting to outside interests. These RPUD units present a threat to the way of life we all enjoy here in Oak Hill and in no way reflect the will of our residents.

Get the city prepared in case of a catastrophic hurricane or other disaster by acquiring emergency power generation systems and a storm shelter that is open to all residents.

Implement a five-year plan to improve the roadways in our city by bringing them up to statewide standards.

“With the help and support of the citizens of Oak Hill, we can achieve these goals.

Thank you!”
