Planning and Land Development Regulation Commission (PLDRC), had violated their rights during a hearing that was held on December 12, 2020

The reason the city is being sued is because they got themselves into a situation when they violated the rights of concerned citizens.

Attorney Kelly went on to ask that the city commission vote to allow him to write a letter on behalf of the city, disavowing a motion to intervene in the case. That motion was filed by Attorney Tanner Andrews on behalf of a group of Oak Hill residents that he represents.

Oak Hill has a new city administrator; on April 22, John C. Barkley MPA,started his new job and everyone is excited to have him here.

Monday’s city commission will be a busy one and as usual our current leadership is showing no quarter. The agenda pack for the meeting, which by the way was sent out at 11:40 AM Friday October 11, 2024, is packed full. I’m surprised they bothered to send one out all.

Accountability is the idea that someone is responsible for their actions and can be held answerable for their performance or behavior.
