The turnout and participation at the last commissioner’s meeting was amazing. Citizens challenged the commission with thoughtful ideas and meaningful debate. Thank you all…
The commission violated Florida’s Sunshine law
I asked the vice mayor if he would clarify his remark and he replied “it’s clear enough for me.” Vice Mayor Lindlau chose to deliver a flippant response to a serious question. He’s all for our city doing business with a planner who misrepresented important facts while providing evidence to the commission.

I read this letter into the record at the January 23, 2023 commissioner’s meeting
Commissioners,
At the January 9, 2022 City Commissioner’s Meeting, Vice Mayor Lindlau made several unfounded remarks in an effort to disparage my character and damage my reputation. Vice Mayor Lindlau claimed that I violated state law, by misusing my position as city commissioner.
Vice Mayor Lindlau told the commission that I abused my power as a commissioner.
To believe the mayor’s assertion, one would have to embrace the notion that a lie ages well or somehow gets better with time.
We thank you for your vote.
First I’d like to thank you all for your support. The election is over and after a hard-fought campaign, we prevailed. The win represents a milestone in our journey; it’s the first step in achieving our goal of reforming Oak Hill City Government. I’m proud to represent you as part of our city commission and honored by your trust and confidence in my ability to do that. On Monday, November 14, 2022, at the 6:00 PM city commissioner’s meeting I will be sworn in; please come and show your support.
